The repair of the continuity defects resulted in service, and produced by erosion an corrosion phenomena, as cavities on the internal surface of the metallic pressure vessels, is determined by the necessity to rebuild the initial constructive shape, in order to assure the safety work conditions and the increasing of the pressure vessels lifetime.

The paper presents a techlology for repairing by welding without post-welding heat treatment. This technology can be applied in the case of thickwalls pressure vessels made from ferritic alloyed steels.
