In this paper, it is presented the way to repair the frame trailer of a racing bicycle in Africa, during a race made by a swiss biker. This biker used the bicycle in the years 2008-2009, for
43539 km, crossing five European countries and twenty-four African countries.
In order to repair the broken part, the biker asked for help to German Welding Society (DVS), using the e-mail. He received an answer from a member of the Consulting Committee of Der Praktiker review. So, the biker received, by e-mail, an informal list containing the repairing instructions.
